Last Saturday was a night of celebration: SurfAid and Frothin Coffee, in partnership with surf photographer Russell Ord, launched a branded series to support our programs while enjoying the best cup of coffee. $8 from every bag sold go directly to SurfAid.
Hosted by the amazing team at Groundswell, the event was a huge success, fundraising over $1500 to SurfAid.
“The last three or four years for me have been about doing projects with purpose – stuff like SurfAid and what Frothin Coffee are doing with their coffee, because in the end it’s just a pretty picture but now it’s a pretty picture that might change lives”. Russell Ord commented.
Being inspired by sick waves and healthy villages, Purri Gould, owner of Frothin Coffee, decided to take action and change lives. After the event Purri told us:
“The event left me a bit humbled, quiet and reflective. It’s heart-warming to see people from all walks and backgrounds gathering together for conversation, community and a mutual desire to see good happen in our world.
